Get It Done
EASILY PLANNED · Home care guide

Leaving your home empty? Set these five priorities.

A clear conversation before you leave makes it easier for someone else to care for your home. These questions help you decide what to ask for, whether you need one visit or ongoing support.

01

Choose the areas that matter

List the rooms to check, existing issues and anything that should be left untouched. A baseline set of permitted photos can make later updates easier to understand.

02

Decide what a visit should achieve

A quick visual check and a cleaning visit do different jobs. Specify the rooms, frequency and cleaning scope. Agree whether ventilation or running a named appliance is appropriate; do not leave those decisions vague.

03

Name the person who approves extra work

If something needs repair, who can approve it while you are away? Agree a contact method, a backup person and any limits. A proposed repair should describe the issue, work and total charges before anyone proceeds.

04

Ask what you will see after each visit

An update should help you understand what was checked, what was done and what remains open. Agree which photos may be taken and how the report will reach you.

05

Plan your return and the end of care

Share your expected return when you know it. Discuss home preparation, any unfinished repair, key return and the final account. A monthly care plan and an individual repair bill should remain easy to distinguish.

Your home still needs care while you’re away.

Choose a visit frequency and the upkeep you need; we handle the local arrangements.
